Air India will revamp its business and first class cabins on international flights to try to boost revenues by wooing more high-paying passengers, a top company official said.
Air India today grounded three cabin crews of a Chicago-Delhi flight for sneaking in some "commercial items" without undergoing mandatory custom clearance at the IGI Airport.
"During March-April, the revenue has increased by about 20 per cent as compared to the same period last year at roughly about Rs 3,000 crore, Kharola said.
Air India is likely to start a direct flight from Mumbai to Frankfurt from June as it seeks to expand its operations to Europe, official sources said.
