Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu today urged Medical Council of India (MCI) for early operationalisation of the state"s first medical college.
Vice Pres. Venkaiah Naidu’s decision to reject the impeachment motion against CJI will enable both the judiciary and the sponsors of the motion to avoid the blushes.
"We are brining in institutional changes to the Medical Council of India so that we can have a vast number of doctors in the country," he said.
Ravi Shankar Prasad said a bill to replace the Medical Council of India (MCI) with a national medical commission was cleared by the Union Cabinet.
Doctors of private hospitals in Uttarakhand went on a four-hour token strike to protest growing incidents of violence against them.
